Hyderpora Srinagar June 30, 2018 (KNO) : Terming the General Bipin Rawat’s statement about his people friendly military operations as a cruel joke with the subjugated people of Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference expressed its anguish and said that on the one hand the Indian occupational forces has waged a war against the people of Kashmir, thereby killing, maiming, frequent arrests and torture has become a routine matter and yet the Indian army general terms these inhuman and vile operations as people friendly.

Hurriyat Conference while condemning such false statements contrary to the ground realities said that the people of Kashmir are living a miserable life under the shadow of an undeclared Martial law especially, during the past thirty years. People are best judges of their day to day life.

They know where the shoe pinches said Hurriyat. The resistance movement for right to self-determination is an indigenous movement fully supported by the people of Kashmir so the General Rawat’s statement does not match with the ground situation, where the Indian occupation forces engage their military might to suppress the peoples genuine voice for their birth right and hence are subjected to worst form of human rights violations at the hands of Indian occupation forces, Hurriyat Conference in a statement said.

Terming the statement tantamount to rub salt into the wounds of the people of Kashmir, Hurriyat Conference urged General Bipin Rawat to read the writing on the wall and apprise his political leadership to shun rigidity and accept the legitimate formula of right to self-determination.
